2018 Youth Art Month Exhibit
Youth Art Month is happening now at the Berkeley Art Works, continuing through March 24. Parents and friends can visit during regular gallery hours Wednesday through Saturday. A big thanks goes to our high school art instructors who—as teachers do—went the extra mile to cope with unpredictable schedules and building access challenges to curate, prepare and install this showcase of artistic talent! Celebrate our young artists with us at the reception on Friday, March 16 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. It’s free and open to the public. Gallery hours are Wed-Fri 11-5, Sat 11-4.

April 4-May 5
Eighth Annual Art and Earth Juried Exhibit
The Berkeley Arts Council announces the Eighth Annual Art and Earth Juried Art Exhibit to be displayed at the Berkeley Art Works, 116 North Queen Street in Martinsburg. The exhibit has the theme ‘Art and Earth: My Art – My World’.150 art works were submitted by 61 artists from 15 states. The Juror is Daniel Fulco, curator for the Washington County Museum of Fine Art in Hagerstown, Maryland. As of this writing the submissions are being reviewed by the Juror. The accepted artists will be announced on or about March 5 on our web site: https://berkeleyartswv.org/art-and-earth/ There will be a reception at the gallery on April 6 from 5-7pm. An evening with Elizabeth Ellis. The Speak Story Series, part of Shepherd University Appalachian Studies Program, kicks off its 2018 season with storytelling icon Elizabeth Ellis, Shepherdstown’s first Appalachian Heritage Storyteller - in - Residence.
