Two Upcoming Life-long Learning Events at Shepherd

Tuesday, April 18th - Speak Story Series presents Antonio Rocha at Reynolds Hall at 7:30 p.m. - Born and raised in Brazil, Antonio presents a unique fusion of verbal narrative and mime that has taken his work to 16 countries across 6 continents.

His tenor voice, realistic sound effects, and exquisite moves will take you on the journey of a lifetime. Here in the USA, where he has made his home for the past 28 years, Antonio has performed at prestigious venues such as the National Storytelling Festival, The Smithsonian, The Kennedy Center, The Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center, The Mesa Performing Arts Center and more. http://www.storyinmotion.com/index2.htm  Tickets are $12 at the door and free to Shepherd students with ID.

The Third Annual Shepherd International Guitar Festival will be held Friday, April 28 through Monday, May 1, 2017. 

Grammy Award winner David Russell will be our festival headliner.  The lineup of artists for the 2017 Festival is outstanding, featuring a variety of traditional pieces and new compositions presented by Cuban father-daughter Duo Martín, and guitarist William Feasley.
