Senate Candidate Patricia Rucker in One of the Top Races in the Country

Charleston, W.Va. - This week the Republican State Leadership Committee (RSLC) selected Patricia Rucker’s candidacy for the West Virginia State Senate as one of their “16 in ‘16: Races to Watch” list.

The RSLC’s “Races to Watch” list recognizes rising stars in the Republican Party. Patricia Rucker is the Republican candidate in the 16th State Senate District of West Virginia.

“It is such an honor to be included in this list,” said Patricia Rucker. “This list is comprised of accomplished men and women from diverse communities in states across the country, but we all share a goal: to improve our communities and to make our states better places to get an education, find a job and raise a family.”

Patricia Rucker is a first generation America citizen who emigrated from Caracas, Venezuela in 1981. She is a former teacher and is involved in her community on a daily basis
