Assistant Director of Clinical Services:
Panhandle Home Health is seeking a qualified applicant who is dedicated, motivated, detailed and efficient to join the leadership team at PHHI as Assistant Director of Clinical Services. The applicant must be a Registered Nurse with a current valid WV RN license and CPR certification. This is a salaried position with hours Monday – Friday 8a-430p and on average is responsible for supervisory call one week per month. The ADCS is responsible for daily chart audits, ICD-10 coding, OASIS proficiency, and review. This person serves on various committees related to Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement. The ADCS is also responsible for covering for the Director of Clinical Services during her absence. In addition, the ADCS serves as the direct supervisor to PHHI intake department, maintains staff scheduling each month, is responsible for assigning and monitoring annual mandatory learning related to OSHA/Health Stream, coordinates continuing education units for clinical staff, and various other duties related to overseeing the clinical staff to ensure the efficiency of day-to-day operations of the Agency.
Panhandle Home Health has a current opening for a full-time, 40 hour per week RN position. Our nurses go into the home to provide and direct one-on-one skilled care to patients who reside in Berkeley, Jefferson, and Morgan counties. A current WV RN license is required as well as current CPR certification. One year of nursing experience is required. The position is paid hourly and travel is also reimbursed. A typical day may be drawing labs, providing/teaching wound care, educating patients/families on disease processes. Regular hours are 8a-430p. Weekend, holiday, and on-call coverage is scheduled on a rotating basis and may average 2 days per month.
Intake Nurse, LPN:
Panhandle Home Health has an immediate opening for a full-time LPN position as Intake Nurse. The successful candidate must be an LPN with current WV license in good standing. Qualifications include exceptional computer skills and the ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced environment! The Intake Nurse is responsible for responding to referral sources timely, receiving referral demographics and gathering all necessary information in order to initiate home health services. Hours are Monday through Friday 8 am to 4:30 pm with the possibility of occasional overtime.
