Opening: Community Networks, Inc. Executive Director
Summary: The Executive Director for Community Networks, Inc. (CNI), a non-profit organization, assists the Board of Directors in carrying out the administrative functions and goals of CNI, and oversees the daily operations of CNI programs and staff. This position directs major administrative functions in programs that include: Bethany House, Hope Living/Learning Center, Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS, Jefferson County Leasing Project, and Rapid Re-Housing. This position, which reports directly to the Board of Directors, will have both internal and external responsibilities, ranging from client and project management (business development, framing of key approaches, high-quality client delivery, written products) to administration (information technology, reporting, facilities), and human capital (HR/recruiting, mentoring, career progression). This position regularly provides financial reports to the Board of Directors, and is responsible for strategic planning and long-range financial projections, cost-benefit analysis of programs and services, and grant development (state, federal, and private) and management. The Executive Director will orchestrate Community Networks’ future growth and strategic response to an ever-increasing demand for services.
Job Status: Full-time, exempt
Salary Range: Salary of $50,000 - $55,000 based upon background and experience

Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred. Related experience with the homeless and/or HIV/AID’s consumers, five or more years senior nonprofit management experience, grant writing experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills and Abilities: Strong management, interpersonal, analytical and organizational skills; an excellent record of leadership in policy formation, including planning, assessment, project accounting, grant and general administration; demonstrated expertise in the development and implementation of strategic financial plans; effective written and oral communication skills; strong working knowledge of financial and information technologies; ability to work effectively with internal and external constituencies; success in roles requiring execution of multiple tasks while responding to multiple priorities; and self-starter, self-disciplined, spark, imagination, and creativity.
