New Little Free Library Now Open at South Jefferson Park
Adult patrons of South Jefferson Library put up a little library at South Jefferson Park. The building was constructed and donated by Steve Hebert and Monumental Construction of Jefferson, Maryland. He did a wonderful job making it for us. We also owe a big thank you to two awesome Home Depot employees; Logan in the Paint Department and Lyndon in Building Supplies. Logan helped get the best paint and other supplies to finish it. Lyndon’s advice choosing our post to mount the library plus shingles, hardware, and concrete was invaluable. We couldn’t have done this without these guys.
The Little Library is located just inside South Jefferson Park’s main gate. Anyone can stop by and get a book or leave one for others. Just don’t put any South Jefferson Library books in there! Little Free Libraries are found all over the USA and the world. You can go to http://www.littlefreelibrary.org and search the map to see if any are near you when you travel or where you live.
