Local Authors to hold Book Signing in Hagerstown, MD

Hagerstown, MD - Mark P. and Julia Stinson Brugh will be hosting a book signing and will be on hand to autograph copies of their newly released “Civil War Ghosts of Sharpsburg”  at the Visitor Welcome Center on Saturday, October 24, 2015, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. 

The Welcome Center is located at 6 North Potomac Street in downtown Hagerstown.

Local Authors to hold Book Signing at Visitor Welcome Center on October 24, 2015, from 12pm-2pm.  “Civil War Ghosts of Sharpsburg” written by Mark P. and Julia Stinson Brugh, owners of “Gravediggers and Ghosts of Sharpsburg 1862 Historic Tours.”


Civil War Ghosts of Sharpsburg is the newest addition to The History Press’ Haunted America series. The book was released on August 31st, 2015.

According to a press release from the publisher, Arcadia Publishing and History Press, “More than twenty of the images were donated from private collections of local residents and have not been previously published. The book features about twenty new stories of mysterious sightings, mostly of Confederate soldiers in Sharpsburg. It explains the political discord and wrangling that led to the creation of separate cemeteries for the Union and Confederate soldiers who died at Antietam.”
