Jones Announces Candidacy For 63rd Delegate District

Martinsburg, WV – Davy Jones, Republican, announces his candidacy for the vacant 63rd Delegate District in the West Virginia House of Delegates.

“The 63rd District has been blessed to be represented by Mike Folk,” said Jones. “However since Delegate Folk has announced his candidacy for the 16th State Senate Seat, I am honored to be following in his footsteps to continue the fight for a fiscally conservative and Constitutional State Government.”

Davy Jones is a U.S. Army veteran and serves currently as the Secretary and Communications Director of the Berkeley County Republican Club.

“Delegate Folk fought long and hard to end Common Core in our State, as well as a Champion of the 2nd Amendment and lead the fight for fiscally conservative policies.  I pledge to you that I will continue those efforts and will never vote against the Constitution, individual liberty or your right to keep and bear arms.”

Jones is a member of the National Rifle Association, the West Virginia Citizen’s Defense League, Campaign for Liberty and the Liberty Political Action Committee, where he served as the State Chair from 2014-2015.

“The people of the 63rd District deserve a true conservative to represent them in Charleston, not a ‘yes man’ who will compromise away your God-given rights.  I will champion ending Common Core by any name in our State and I will never vote for new or increased taxes, that is my pledge to you.”

“For decades the good old boy system in Charleston has increased your taxes and taken away your rights as protected by the Constitutions of the United States and West Virginia.  I will work day and night to preserve your freedom and cut the waste and abuse rampant in the State Government.”
