Cash for College:  You Can Get Help Getting Yours

CASH FOR COLLEGE: YOU CAN GET HELP GETTING YOURS.

College Goal Sunday is an opportunity for students and families to receive FREE help completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). College Goal Sunday workshops will be held on February 13, 2011 at 18 locations across the state.  Anyone planning to attend college can participate in the workshops, which offer one-on-one, confidential help from area financial aid professionals. College Goal Sunday is staffed by financial aid experts who will not share families’ information.  Students who participate will submit the FAFSA onsite, through the federal government’s online form, which is completely secure.  Students who participate in College Goal Sunday will be entered to win an Apple iPad and other door prizes.

Students and families in our area can attend the workshop at:

Shepherd University
White Hall, Rooms 204 & 209

Shepherdstown, WV 25443
February 13, 2011 from 1 to 4 p.m.

Students and families participating should bring their social security number and 2010 tax records.  Those who have not yet completed their 2010 taxes can bring their 2009 forms.  For a complete list of what to bring and other details, visit http://www.cfwv.com.
