Abolitionist Ale Works To Hold Grand Opening Block Party This Saturday, June 17

Live music, craft beer and exciting new beginnings will be the theme in downtown Charles Town this Saturday, June 17, as Abolitionist Ale Works, formerly Front Porch Brewing Co will open its doors for the first time to the public.

But before that happens, the brewery will be hosting a live music block party that will feature 4 bands; Higher Hands, The Primate Fiasco, This Way to the Egress, The Dirty Grass Players and DJ Myke Nyce playing on the 100 block of S Charles St from 10 am to 7:30 PM. Abolitionist Ale Works will be selling it’s in town crafted beers at the event. At 8 PM following the live music beer garden and block party, Abolitionist Ale Works will open up with a premier party featuring live music from The Primate Fiasco and food from C&G Jerk Chicken. Both events are free.

Attendees are encouraged to get there early and form a line in order to get a table or bar stool.

“The public has been waiting so patiently for us to renovate this historic building that we wanted to start off with a huge event so that as many people as possible could participate and try one of our many on site crafted beers” said Josh Vance, owner of Abolitionist Ale Works.
