7th Annual Jefferson County Civil War Seminar

The Seventh Annual Jefferson County Civil War Seminar will be held on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 from 8:45 AM – 4 PM. The seminar is sponsored by the Charles Town Library Civil War Roundtable and the Jefferson County Historical Society. This year’s seminar will be held at historic Happy Retreat, home of Charles Washington, youngest brother of General George Washington and founder of Charles Town. The seminar is open to the public and free of charge. Seating for this popular event is limited, so plan to arrive early.

John Kavaliunas: "Carry Me Back to New Virginia: Confederates in Mexico"
